• Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of
solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced
team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting
correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as
daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and
competitive developments.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current
customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment
to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
- Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to
determine their potential.
- Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting
profile, share and value opportunities.
